Ping = lag

Det er en ting jeg lurer på.. Jeg sitter på en 10 mbits linje midt i Norge... Men alikavell har jeg 300 i ping på serverene deres ?? Kan noen være så snill å forklare meg hvorfor det er sånn.. Og jeg bruker å spille på en server i USA, og der har jeg kun 150 i ping... Shocked

you might hawe a bad ISP..... so even if you hawe 10 mb you kan have a bad connection so to say.

what kinde off connection is it ??? cabel or radio LAN ???

Radio LAN normaly hawe worse ping then att clean fiber optic cabel.

Where is magnus? He is good at these things explaining how the ping depends on what way your packets choose to the different servers, so maybe your packets "travel" a better way to the US servers, while they pick a more poor way to the swedish maffia servers... or something like that... i think... im a bit ignorant when it comes to things like these Rolling Eyes

better ask magnus or someone else that knows what hes talking about Laughing

Could you not try to ping the servers? I don't remeber how you do, but I guess that someone here would know?

Försök starta ett Command-window och skriv ping cs1.maffia.dk
Testa samma sak med cs3.maffia.dk och se om det är någon skillnad. VAd får du för värden här?

Testa även tracert cs1.maffia.dk och cs3.maffia.dk så ser du var på vägen pingen verkar bli högre.
